Possibility

So tell me when you hear my heart stops

You’re the only one who knows

Tell me when you hear me falling

There’s a possibility

It wouldn’t show

Why bother sucking up?

Why bother treating people good?

Why bother showing love?

When one mistake

When one tiny little misjudgment

Will ruin everything.

Why bother?

Common sense.

is not something we can learn.

if it’s there.it’s there.

if it’s not...

Like I said.

Common sense.

it’s not something we can learn.

She and her boyfriend got into an accident today.

Somehow I think it’s funny.

Even now. I still can’t stop smiling.

Heheheheh.

Easy.

Was what they were

They met.They ate.They walked.

They held hands.

Easy.

Was what they have always been

They talked.They laughed.They played.

They listened to songs.

Easy.

Was what she thought goodbye will be.

though necessary,it was far.far from easy.

But both will never forget.

How easy it was

and how easy it still is.

She got out of work at around 8.06pm and she walked towards La Trobe St tram stop. While waiting for North Coburg tram, a homeless person walked pass and immediately she thought, “Stay calm. Don’t stare. And everything will be fine. Ughh. Sure hope he wouldn’t cause any problem”. Four years. She still couldn’t help but being jumpy and nervous everytime a homeless person is in close proximity with her. Not sure why. He was talking non stop. She couldn’t make up what he was saying and it was getting pretty annoying. She wondered if everyone felt the same way or was it just her. She peeked at the tram’s digital timetable. “3 more minutes” and she could see that the tram is approaching “hmm..hopefully he’s not gonna get into this tram” she thought selfishly to herself. He looked at the approaching tram and decided to walk away. Suddenly, he changed his mind and bent down to collect some cigarette buds laying around right in the middle of the tram tracks. Everybody else was looking and shouting at him to move away from the track. Of all the commuters, she was the closest to him. Yet she did nothing. “Attention seeker.”, she thought. As the tram got closer, everybody else kept on shouting at him except for this one Asian guy who was standing the farthest away from the homeless guy. He was running towards him trying to warn him thinking that maybe the homeless guy couldn’t hear the shouting. As he touched him, the homeless guy immediately got defensive.

“What the f*** is your problem man?”

“The tram is coming and everyone was shouting..”

“Why the f*** are you touching me? Can’t you mind your own business?”

“Are you trying to get yourself killed?”

“So what if I was? Is it gonna be YOUR problem? I don’t think so. So stay the f*** away!”

The Asian guy was clearly humiliated because he didn’t know how to react or even what he could say to defend himself. A Caucasian woman approached him and said “It’s okay. Everybody else saw what you were trying to do. Just ignore him.”

So there. If you were in this situation, what would you do?

Which would you rather be?

The selfish girl who just got back from work and was thinking all about herself?

The Asian guy who tried to help but got humiliated instead?

or everybody else who just couldn’t be bothered?

Is it wrong to be selfish? If by being selfish, we could save ourselves from unnecessary humiliation?

But is it right to be selfish? When knowing that by not being selfish, we COULD save other people’s lives?

And if someone decided to be self-centered, self-absorbed or self-serving, can we judge them?

Pointless and Impossible

Author: Haryana Sidin /

When the whole world

Doesn’t seem to understand

Will you explain?

When the people you know

Suddenly don’t remember

Will you jog their memory?

When the family you love

Wouldn’t want to take a chance

Will you step up?

When the friend you once trust

Betrayed you

Will there be a second chance?

When that one person you truly love

Doesn’t share the same feelings

not anymore

Will you ask them to reconsider?

Or will you just let them walk away?

When things don’t work out

the way they're supposed to

What can one do?

Or what can one allowed to do?

When holding on seems pointless

And letting go seems impossible.

All At Once

Looking for the right one you line up the world to find

Where no questions cross your mind

But she won’t keep on waiting for you without a doubt

Much longer for you to sort it out

Sometimes the hardest thing and the right thing are the same

Maybe you want her

Maybe you need her

Maybe you started to compare to someone not there

Always Never

always there
holding,
but never touching.

always there
smiling,
but never happy.

always there
lifting up,
but never support.

always there
never left,
never stayed either.

always there,
but never really here.

Seeing Someone

Sometimes I wonder
if people see him the way I do
if he sees himself the way I see him
I hope he will.eventually
and I hope everyone else wouldn't.

will I or will I not?

I wonder if I will get the chance to do this
To wear The Robe
To put on that square looking hat
Final paper was bad
Dang it.
